Simon White Artist
Come visit, to see some fantastic works by Simon scattered around the town. A recent mural that he designed and installed on the front wall of The Lakeview Bar & Bistro generated a lot of interest and media exposure, including an article in The Age newspaper.
Boating on the Lakes
The lakes offer ideal year-round boating conditions, with large areas of open water and secluded inlets and rivers. Loch Sport has three boat ramps adjacent to the jetty in Charlie street with ample parking for vehicles and trailers. There are an additional two ramps suitable for small craft and jet-skis, located in Seagull Drive & The Boulevard. Also, a private ramp at the Marina.
Lake Street Lions Park
Loch Sport has fantastic facilities for all ages in the Lions Park located on Lake street. A shelter that includes electric BBQ’s, picnic tables and running water. There is play equipment, a quarter basketball court and a skate ramp all with a view over Lake Victoria as well as sandy beaches and a lawn area to sit back and relax. Exercise equipment will give those keeping fit an extra advantage while walking through the park. Many functions are held in the park including our annual fireworks on NYE.
